Intesis announces a new gateway forits Intesis KNX line of products. The gateway allows the integration of DALI ballasts into KNX installations.

With this gateway it is possible to manage from any KNX system your DALI installation or simply share your DALI data with any KNX device. 

The gateway is compatible with DALI Fluorescent (type 0), Emergency (type 1) and LED (type 6) drivers following the DALI 2.0 specification. Includes also its own DALI power-supply and has support for DALI multi-master.

How it works?

With Intesis MAPS software it is possible to perform the commissioning of the ballasts connected to the DALI bus giving them all the necessary parameters according to its DALI type.

Once set up, the gateway acts as a KNX standard device in its KNX interface, allowing other devices in the installation reading or writing its internal communication objects. The KNX communication objects provide control of the DALI ballasts connected to Intesis.
