New features available on the Panasonic to BACnet MSTP Interface

by Intesis by HMS Networks | Apr 12, 2023
Intesis, a leading provider of building automation gateways, has announced the official launch of its redesigned Panasonic Etherea to BACnet MSTP Interface. This product allows for fully bi-directional communication between Panasonic Etherea AC units and BACnet MSTP networks. The BTL mark ensures full interoperability with other BACnet devices.

What really sets the Panasonic to BACnet MS/TP Interface apart, and differentiates it from former versions, is the support for nanoe™X air purification filter functions. With the growing concern over air quality and the spread of airborne illnesses, air purification has become a top priority for many building managers. The nanoe™X air purification filter functions are designed to help eliminate harmful pollutants and bacteria from the air, creating a healthier and more comfortable indoor environment. Now with Intesis gateways, it will be possible to integrate nanoe™X air purification filter functions within the BMS, as with any other variable.

It enables an occupancy function for energy savings. As we know, costs related to HVAC systems in a building are one of the highest and this type of function can help to reduce them. With the occupancy function, the AC unit can detect when the room is unoccupied and adjust its temperature accordingly, resulting in significant energy savings.

Intesis Panasonic to BACnet MSTP Interface is a powerful and versatile solution for building automation. Its features and capabilities make it an excellent choice for building managers looking to optimize the performance of their HVAC systems while also improving the indoor environment for occupants
